The necessary working element of vegetable cutters of the manufacturing company Fimar and, at the same time, its undeniable advantage, are its components - cutting discs of various types and purposes. Usually they are not included in the delivery set of this equipment and are purchased separately, depending on the purpose of the vegetable cutting machine. The shape of the discs and the features of the cutting surface are determined by the task - depending on this, the machine can cut, shred, grind, cut into strips or cubes. In addition, the choice of disc also depends on the product processed in the vegetable cutter. Some discs are designed exclusively for cutting hard raw vegetables (for example, raw potatoes, carrots, etc.) - discs E1, E2 and E3, others - E8, E10 and E14 - for boiled vegetables, others - E5 - are used for cutting fruits and tomatoes. Cutting into cubes of different sizes and shapes for soups, salads, French fries, etc. is carried out using a combination of the listed discs with a group of additional ones (series D). The H and B series of discs are selected exclusively for cutting into strips. To obtain long strips (along the entire length of the product), B and E discs (6, 8, 10) are used. The Z series discs are also very special. They are used exclusively for shredding or grating different types of cheese, cabbage, apples, chocolate, nuts, etc.
